The Middle Ages come alive in Correzzola
La Marciliana in the Padovano territory is the historical reenactment that every summer brings the 15th century back to Correzzola, in the province of Padua. The event takes place in the evocative park of the Corte Benedettina and in the historic brolo, around the ancient monastic complex that dominates the town.
A medieval village rebuilt
During the days of the reenactment, Correzzola transforms into a 15th-century village: encampments, taverns for refreshment, reconstructions of ancient arts and crafts, costumed figures. The program features jousts and duels, historical parades, fireworks displays, and entertainment with fire-eaters, jugglers, and minstrels.
History told
La Marciliana commemorates the events of the early 15th century, when the dominion of the Republic of Venice over the Padovano territory was definitively established. The reenactment is realized with the participation and collaboration of the districts of Chioggia, in an event that intertwines history, spectacle, and the identity of the Saccisica.
La Marciliana — edition 2026
La Marciliana 2026 is scheduled from July 27 to 29 at the Corte Benedettina park and in the historic brolo of Correzzola. For three days, the town returns to the 15th century with the reconstruction of a 15th-century village, encampments, taverns, ancient arts and crafts. The program includes jousts and duels, historical parades, fireworks displays, and entertainment with fire-eaters, jugglers, and minstrels. The reenactment is realized with the participation of the districts of Chioggia.
