Edition 2025 — La Fricia

In 2025, the Pro Loco of Montemagno Monferrato once again hosted La Fricia, the gastronomic evening dedicated to the grand Piedmontese mixed fry at the Oratorio of Montemagno. The event, now a tradition in the spring calendar of the Asti village, confirmed the success of an iconic dish of Monferrato peasant cuisine, accompanied by local wines and the convivial atmosphere typical of village festivals.

The 2025 edition of La Fricia maintained its established formula: a dinner and a lunch at the Oratorio of Montemagno Monferrato, in the province of Asti, dedicated to the grand Piedmontese mixed fry prepared by the Pro Loco volunteers.

The menu, based on the traditional Monferrato «fricia» with its many sweet and savory courses, was accompanied by wines from the Monferrato hills, confirming the event as one of the most anticipated gastronomic appointments of the spring in the village.
