L'Altro Teatro is the spring theatre review in San Donà di Piave, in the province of Venice. The shows are staged at the Auditorium of the Leonardo da Vinci Cultural Centre, one of the most vibrant cultural spaces in eastern Veneto.
Who Organises It
The review is conceived and organised by the Associazione Teatro dei Pazzi in collaboration with the City of San Donà di Piave, with the artistic direction of Giovanni Giusto. The programme combines drama, singer-songwriter music, and comedy, with a particular focus on theatre in the Venetian dialect.
Between Big Names and Tradition
Each edition offers a handful of events ranging from protagonists of the national scene to productions more closely linked to the territory. The shows start at 9 PM and are a point of reference for the theatre audience of San Donà and the municipalities of the Basso Piave region.
L'Altro Teatro — edition 2026
The 2026 edition, the third, animated the Auditorium of the Leonardo da Vinci Cultural Centre with a series of shows featuring drama, music, and comedy, under the artistic direction of Giovanni Giusto. Opening the programme on March 7 was singer-songwriter Giorgio Conte with his Sconfinando Tour 2026; closing it on April 24 was a comedy in the Venetian dialect by Theama Teatro.
