The June Fair is one of the most cherished events in San Felice sul Panaro, a town in the northern plain of the Province of Modena, in Emilia-Romagna. Also known as the Summer Festival, it enlivens the historic center of the town for several days, transforming it into a great meeting place: the market extends through the streets and squares, the food stalls serve traditional Emilian dishes, and the funfair lights up for the little ones.
What to expect
The fair blends different aspects into a single village festival. On one hand, the commercial and traditional dimension, with stalls selling food products, sweets, and various goods authorized by the Emilia-Romagna Region for public area fairs. On the other hand, a rich evening program, hosted mainly in Piazza Matteotti, in the Rocca meadow, and on Viale Campi, featuring alternating ballroom orchestras, concerts, Latin American music nights, and events dedicated to local associations.

A village tradition
The June Fair is traditionally held on one of the central weekends of the month and represents, along with the older September Fair, one of the two major fair events in San Felice sul Panaro. It is a deeply popular festival, built year after year by the work of the Pro Loco and local associations, making it an occasion for reunion for the inhabitants of the Bassa and visitors from neighboring municipalities of the Unione Comuni Modenesi Area Nord.
June Fair — edition 2026
The June Fair 2026 in San Felice sul Panaro takes place from Friday, June 19 to Monday, June 22, opening in the evening (approximately from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM). The heart of the festival remains the historic center, with the market along the village streets and the funfair dedicated to the little ones.
The complete schedule of evenings (concerts, ballroom dancing, craft market, and association initiatives) will be published by the Pro Loco and the Municipality of San Felice sul Panaro shortly before the event.
