June 2nd in Music in Seregno

In Seregno, in the Province of Monza and Brianza, Republic Day has its musical highlight in the June 2nd Concert, entrusted to the Filarmonica Fiati Città di Seregno. The event takes place at the Auditorium in Piazza Risorgimento and, in 2026, will celebrate the 80th anniversary of the proclamation of the Italian Republic.

A Program Blending Classical and Italian Song

The town band will present a repertoire designed for a broad audience, capable of blending the solemnity of the occasion with the popularity of the melodies:

• Classical pieces from the band tradition;
• Music from Italian songs, to engage all generations.

The concert will be held in the afternoon, in an atmosphere of celebration and participation.

A Day of Celebrations

The concert is part of a broader program that the Municipality dedicates to June 2nd: in the morning, the flag-raising ceremony in front of the Town Hall, as part of the Bicinfesta bike ride, and in the evening, a live broadcast of the concert from the Quirinale Gardens, projected on the big screen at Gelsia Village in Piazza Risorgimento. An intertwining of music, sport, and civic remembrance.
