Jesolo Libri – Parole e Idee is the literary review that enlivens summer evenings in Jesolo, in the Province of Venice. In Piazza Milano, leading writers, journalists, and essayists take turns meeting the public in free evenings of readings, dialogues, and book signings.

Each year, the festival offers a line-up of guests that ranges from fiction to noir, from civic essays to analyses of current affairs and geopolitics. The evenings, hosted in dialogue with the public, offer a vibrant snapshot of contemporary Italian culture, featuring well-known and popular authors.

With free admission subject to availability, Jesolo Libri combines the dimension of a major literary review with the relaxed atmosphere of a coastal piazza, with the Teatro Vivaldi serving as an alternative venue in case of bad weather. The 2026 edition of Jesolo Libri – Parole e Idee returns from July 13 to 18 in Piazza Milano, with the Teatro Vivaldi as an alternative venue in case of bad weather.
Six free evenings will feature beloved authors on stage: Enrico Galiano (Monday, July 13), Federico Rampini (Tuesday, July 14), and Gianrico Carofiglio (Wednesday, July 15), among others. The review is also linked to the Strega Tour 2026. All evenings have free admission until all seats are filled.
