Isola Salt Cod and Fried Fish Festival

The 2025 edition of the Salt Cod and Fried Fish Festival took place as per tradition in the month of July in the village of Isola, in San Miniato (province of Pisa). Once again this year, local volunteers set up food stalls dedicated to salt cod cooked according to traditional Tuscan recipes and fried fish, served hot and crispy.

The festival confirmed its vocation as a community event: open-air tables, convivial evenings, and the authentic atmosphere of the lower Valdarno village festivals brought the hamlet to life, attracting the inhabitants of Isola and visitors from the surroundings of San Miniato. An opportunity to enjoy popular Tuscan fish-based dishes in a cheerful atmosphere, following the numerous gastronomic festivals that bring the San Miniato territory to life every year.
