About Ireland Festival

For a weekend, Piazza Gramsci in Cinisello Balsamo transforms into an authentic Irish village: live Celtic music, dances, harp and weaving workshops, craft beers, and themed street food. The Ireland Festival brings all the atmosphere of Irish pubs and traditions to the heart of the north Milanese city, with concerts, dances, and activities for all ages. A free event, organized by Slow Music ETS and Barley Arts together with the Municipality, celebrating Irish culture amidst crackling fires, folk dances, and a gastronomic offer inspired by traditional pubs.

Ireland Arrives in Cinisello Balsamo

The Ireland Festival is the event that transforms Piazza Gramsci, in the center of Cinisello Balsamo (Metropolitan City of Milan), into a true Irish village. For three days, the square fills with music, dances, the aromas of the grill, and beer: a dive into the traditions of the Emerald Isle just a few kilometers from Milan.

Celtic Music and Dances

The heart of the festival is live music: Celtic and Irish music groups take turns on stage, while the Celtic Roses present traditional dance shows. The Ross Arpa Trio Folk leads free workshops on Celtic dance and harp, where the public can learn traditional steps and techniques.

Workshops and Culture

In addition to concerts, the festival offers activities for immersion in Irish culture: 'La Bottega di Lugh' organizes weaving workshops and historical costume demonstrations, highlighting the authenticity of Celtic heritage through practical and engaging experiences, perfect even for the little ones.

Pub Gastronomy and Beers

The gastronomic offer is inspired by traditional pubs, with open grills and a selection of beers. Streat Food Truck's food trucks complete the culinary offering. The Ireland Festival is organized by Slow Music ETS, Barley Arts, and Buono – Food Events in collaboration with the municipal administration: a free entry event that combines music, culture, and conviviality.
