About International Street Food
Street food arrives in Vimercate
International Street Food is one of the most important travelling street food festivals in Italy and it stops in Vimercate, a municipality in the province of Monza and Brianza, in Piazza Unità d'Italia. For an entire weekend, the equipped vehicles transform into open-air kitchens, where every dish is prepared live.
A world tour in three days
The gastronomic journey ranges from slow-cooked porchetta to American barbecue, from Puglian puccia to Sicilian specialties, from freshly prepared paella to Thai food. There are also craft beers and a festive atmosphere that involves families, groups of friends, and the curious. Alfredo Orofino, the face of the project, guides visitors through the stories of the food trucks.
An accessible festival
Admission is free and the opening hours cover lunch and dinner. It's an opportunity to discover flavours from all over the world in the heart of Vimercate, among the squares of the historic centre, during one of the stops on the long tour that visits dozens of Italian cities every year.
International Street Food — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of International Street Food in Vimercate is the 34th stop of the 10th edition of the tour and takes place in Piazza Unità d'Italia from May 22nd to 24th, 2026. For three days, food trucks offer a gastronomic world tour with live cooking, from porchetta to American barbecue to Thai food, accompanied by craft beers.

How to get there
Piazza Unità d'Italia is located in the centre of Vimercate (Monza and Brianza). The city is connected to Monza and Milan by tram-bus and bus; by car, it can be reached from the Milan Tangenziale Est (Eastern Ring Road) and the SP2 provincial road.
Admission and opening hours
Free admission. Opening hours: Friday from 6:00 PM to midnight, Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 PM to midnight.
