About Imperdibili

"Imperdibili" is the series of meetings promoted by Fondazione Dalmine in collaboration with GAMeC of Bergamo. Five evening events built around as many keywords — product, material, process, place, subject — to explore the dialogue between industrial culture and contemporary artistic research. From Andy Warhol's Pop Art to the practices of Abraham Cruzvillegas, a journey that intertwines art and the world of the factory in the spaces of the Foundation, in Dalmine.

When industry meets contemporary art

Imperdibili is the series of meetings conceived by Fondazione Dalmine, in the Municipality of Dalmine (Province of Bergamo), in collaboration with GAMeC — Galleria d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Bergamo. The cycle investigates the dialogue between industrial culture and contemporary artistic research, showing how art has often looked at the world of production, materials, and work to build its own language.

Five keywords

The journey is divided into five events, each guided by a keyword: product, material, process, place, subject. Each meeting relates the archive and industrial memory preserved by the Foundation with works and practices of contemporary art, in a comparison that is also a new way of reading Dalmine's heritage.

From Andy Warhol to Cruzvillegas

The first event, titled "Product. From Andy Warhol to Abraham Cruzvillegas", reflects on how art has adopted the forms and logic of serial production, from Pop Art to more recent research. The meetings are led by Manuela Bandini, architect and museum educator at GAMeC.

An open and free dialogue

The series is designed as an opportunity for in-depth study, open to all, free of charge and by reservation, which enhances the role of Fondazione Dalmine as a cultural hub for the Bergamo area and the city's historical link with big industry.

Imperdibili — edition 2026

The 2026 "Imperdibili" cycle kicks off on March 12 at Fondazione Dalmine and continues with five evening meetings at 6:30 PM, dedicated to the dialogue between industrial culture and contemporary art with GAMeC.
