A series of meetings between industrial culture and contemporary artistic research
Imperdibili is the series of meetings conceived by the Dalmine Foundation, in the Municipality of Dalmine (Province of Bergamo), in collaboration with the GAMeC — Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art of Bergamo. The series investigates the dialogue between industrial culture and contemporary artistic research, showing how art has often looked to the world of production, materials, and labor to build its own language.
The journey is divided into five events, each guided by a keyword: product, material, process, place, subject. Each meeting relates the industrial archive and memory preserved by the Foundation with works and practices of contemporary art, in a comparison that is also a new way of reading Dalmine's heritage.
The first event, titled "Product. From Andy Warhol to Abraham Cruzvillegas", reflects on how art has adopted the forms and logic of serial production, from Pop Art to more recent research. The meetings are led by Manuela Bandini, architect and museum educator at GAMeC.
The series is designed as an opportunity for in-depth study open to all, free of charge and by reservation, which enhances the role of the Dalmine Foundation as a cultural hub for the Bergamo area and the city's historical link with major industry.
The 2026 edition of Imperdibili offers five evening meetings (6:30 PM) built around as many keywords: product, material, process, place, subject. The first event, March 12, is dedicated to the theme of Product, from Andy Warhol to Abraham Cruzvillegas. All meetings are held at the Dalmine Foundation in collaboration with GAMeC of Bergamo.
Meetings led by Manuela Bandini (GAMeC). Free admission by reservation via Ticketlandia.
