The Great Literary Festival Arrives in Irsina

On June 19, 2026, Irsina, a village in the province of Matera listed among the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy, will host the Lucanian preview of 'Il Libro Possibile', a literary festival organized by the ARTES Cultural Association, now in its 25th edition. The event, promoted by APT Basilicata in collaboration with the Municipality, will take place on the evocative parvis of the Co-Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, the monumental heart of the village.

An Evening with Distinguished Guests

The preview will feature meetings and dialogues with leading figures in Italian culture. Among the announced guests are: Vladimir Luxuria, discussing inclusion and civil rights; Tiziana Ferrario, Rai journalist, with her novel dedicated to Anna Kuliscioff; and psychiatrist and essayist Paolo Crepet, offering a reflection on the meaning of life.
