About Bardolino Freddo
A new way to drink red wine
Il Bardolino Freddo was created to promote an original idea: Bardolino red wine served chilled, around 12-14°C, perfect for summer evenings on Lake Garda. The event takes place at the end of August in Bardolino, in the province of Verona, between the port, the lakefront and the historic centre.
Wine, music and art
For three days, the lakefront comes alive with tastings of Bardolino DOC served chilled, accompanied by live music, DJ sets and concerts. There are also exhibitions of fine arts at Parco Carrara and Riva Cornicello, craft stalls and food trucks offering quality gastronomic proposals, from risotto all'isolana to cicchetti.
The wineries featured
The event, promoted by the Fondazione Bardolino Top in collaboration with the Strada del Vino Bardolino DOC and the protection consortium, involves numerous local wineries. Tastings of Bardolino Classico DOC can be enjoyed by purchasing the event's personalised kit directly from the wineries.
Bardolino Freddo — edition 2026
The 3rd edition of Il Bardolino Freddo is scheduled from August 28 to 30, 2026. On Friday and Saturday, events start from 6:00 PM, while on Sunday, opening is for the whole day. The star is Bardolino red wine served chilled, accompanied by music, gastronomy, crafts and food trucks between the port, the lakefront and Parco Carrara Bottagisio.

- Tastings of Bardolino DOC served chilled (12-14°C) at participating wineries
- Live music, DJ sets and concerts on the lakefront

- Friday and Saturday from 6:00 PM; Sunday open all day

How to get here
Bardolino, on the Veronese side of Lake Garda. By car: A4 motorway exit Peschiera del Garda or Affi. Events take place between the port, Lungolago Roma, Riva Cornicello and Parco Carrara Bottagisio.
Admission
Free admission. Bardolino DOC tastings require the purchase of the event kit from the wineries.
