Review of the 2025 edition

The 19th edition of I Sapori del Borgo was held in Grotte di Castro from July 25 to 27, 2025. The ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on Friday at 6:30 PM, with stands opening at 7:00 PM and entertainment starting from 8:00 PM onwards.

Local associations managed the kitchens: the Pro Loco with lake fish meatballs and fried fish in paper cones, the Asd Nuova Castrense with fried pizzette, La Compagnia della Rupe with mixed grills, the Senior Center with traditional desserts, and the Historical Pageant with wild boar pappardelle and lilleri all'amatriciana.

On the musical front, Massimo Cincarelli Karaoke, La Merla Folk Band, the Three Teachers Country Line, the Clito Swing Band, and Rita Chiatti & Company took turns. Along Via del Progresso, the widespread exhibition Le carte pesta in strada by Giorgio Pulsselli was set up.

At the close of the event, the municipal administration highlighted the strength of the bond between the local community and its traditions, and the growth of Grotte di Castro as a cultural and gastronomic destination in the Tuscia region.
