Edition 2025 — Translation of Saint Berardo
On April 30, 2025, Pescina relived the traditional Translation of Saint Berardo, patron of the Marsi. As per tradition, the saint's urn had been taken the previous day to San Benedetto dei Marsi, only to be escorted back to Pescina in a procession described by the local press as particularly heartfelt: many faithful accompanied the saint along the road connecting the two towns, while just as many awaited him at the city gates. The two communities, with their respective administrators, met at Parco Barbati and then reached the co-cathedral for a prayer to the patron saint. The emotion was palpable among the faithful upon the arrival of the relics, confirming the strong bond of identity that unites Pescina and San Benedetto dei Marsi in the name of Saint Berardo.
