Guilmi Ventricina Festival

The 45th Guilmi Ventricina Festival was held on August 13 and 14, 2025, with food stalls opening at 6:00 PM. Due to adverse weather conditions, the edition was moved to Contrada Piane di Guilmi, at the industrial warehouse, ensuring the festival could still take place.

The menu offered two options (full for 25 euros and reduced for 15 euros), with specialties such as friarielli with crispy peppers, vicchin di milott, skewers, and ventricina fritters. The evenings were enlivened by live music from La Romagna del Sud (August 13) and I Folli (August 14), followed by DJ sets and a cocktail service from 10:30 PM. The event, organized by the Pro Loco of Guilmi as part of the Bell'Estate Guilmese, confirmed the strong bond between the Abruzzese village and its most iconic cured meat.
