Edition 2025 — Toma Cheese Festival

The 2025 edition of the Gressoney Toma Cheese Festival took place on December 6 and 7 at Obre Platz in Gressoney-Saint-Jean: tastings of the Lys Valley cheese, meetings with producers, tree lighting ceremony, show cooking by chef Danilo Salerno, and a Christmas market with stalls from local producers.

The 2025 edition of the Gressoney Toma Cheese Festival was held on December 6 and 7 at Obre Platz in Gressoney-Saint-Jean, during the Immaculate Conception weekend.

On Saturday, starting at 4:00 PM, meetings with producers shared the authenticity and production of the cheese; at 5:00 PM, the Christmas tree was lit in the square. The program included tastings of Toma di Gressoney in collaboration with the Pro Loco, paid show cooking by chef Danilo Salerno featuring dishes made with toma cheese and local products, and the Christmas market with stalls from local producers. It was a festival that combined alpine gastronomy and Christmas atmosphere in the Walser village of the upper Lys Valley, in the province of Aosta.
