Edition 2025 — Graukäsefest Rinneralm

In the summer of 2025, the Rinneralm mountain hut hosted its Graukäsefest, the festival dedicated to South Tyrol's grey cheese. On the pastures at 1,892 metres, reached via the Racines-Giovo cable car, visitors were able to savour the house-made Graukäse in its various forms, along with mountain specialties, during a festive Sunday immersed in the alpine atmosphere.

The Graukäsefest Rinneralm 2025

The 2025 edition of the Graukäsefest took place at the Rinneralm mountain hut in the Racines-Giovo area, in Racines/Ratschings, reaffirming the summer appointment with Graukäse, the traditional grey cheese produced directly on the alpine pasture. Visitors tasted the cheese in its many preparations, accompanied by the delicacies of mountain cuisine and homemade sweet treats. Easily accessible by cable car, the festival combined tasting with a gentle high-altitude hike, amidst flower-filled meadows and sweeping views of the South Tyrolean peaks.
