Edition 2025 — Gran Forno Festival

The 2025 Gran Forno Festival was held on Monday, January 6th, Epiphany Day, at the communal oven in the hamlet of Plau in Saint-Denis. Pro-Loco Château de Cly volunteers kneaded and baked about 250 loaves of 'pan ner', the traditional Aosta Valley rye bread, in three batches between morning, afternoon, and evening, concluding with pizza baked in the wood-fired oven.

In 2025, the festival returned punctually for Epiphany, Monday, January 6th, at the communal oven in Plau. From the morning, volunteers from Pro-Loco Château de Cly worked the dough for the pan ner and, after leavening, shaped and baked the loaves.

This edition also saw about 250 loaves baked in three batches — morning, afternoon, and evening — with pizza closing the day. An event that confirms the vitality of a gastronomic and community tradition deeply rooted in Saint-Denis.
