Edition 2025 — Gnocchi Festival

On August 24, 2025, Acquafondata hosted the 63rd edition of the Gnocchi Festival, an evening dedicated to the local red potato in the village's historic center. Gnocchi prepared by the local women were served to the public amidst folk music and conviviality, in one of the most heartfelt gastronomic festivals in the Ciociaria region.

The 63rd edition of the Gnocchi Festival of Acquafondata took place on Sunday, August 24, 2025, in the historic center of the small municipality in the Province of Frosinone. As per tradition, the local red potato gnocchi were prepared by the women of the village and distributed to the numerous visitors during an evening of folk music and conviviality. The Municipality of Acquafondata officially confirmed the great success of the event, reaffirming the identity value of a festival that has kept rural memory and the agro-food excellence of the Mainarde village alive since 1961.
