The Giovedì Musicali – In Centro, Tutta un'Altra Musica (Musical Thursdays – In the Centre, A Whole Other Kind of Music) is the summer event that for five Thursdays in July transforms the historic center of Montebelluna, in the province of Treviso, into a large, widespread stage. Live music, exhibitions, shows, entertainment, and theatre accompany evenings where shops remain open until midnight.
A tried and tested formula
The event is promoted by the association Il Mosaico – un Centro da Vivere (The Mosaic – A Centre to Live In), which brings together the center's traders, with the involvement of the Municipality of Montebelluna, trade associations, and the contribution of the Chamber of Commerce of Treviso-Belluno Dolomites. The events are spread across Piazza G.B. Dall'Armi, Piazza Tommaseo, and Corso Mazzini, enlivening the entire heart of the city.
The Sound On Monte contest
The final evening in July awards the Sound On Monte contest prize: the winners perform on the main stage in Piazza Dall'Armi. A showcase designed for emerging music and local businesses, which makes the Giovedì Musicali one of the most beloved initiatives of the Treviso summer.
Giovedì Musicali — edition 2026
The Giovedì Musicali 2026, in its 23rd edition, returns to the historic center of Montebelluna for five Thursdays in July. Live music, exhibitions, entertainment, theatre, and evening shopping with shops open until midnight are spread across Piazza Dall'Armi, Piazza Tommaseo, and Corso Mazzini. The concluding evening on Thursday, July 30th, awards the Sound On Monte prize, with the contest winners performing on the main stage.
