About Sagra di San Giacomo

The Sagra di San Giacomo is the patronal festival of the hamlet of Caonada, in Montebelluna, in the province of Treviso. Every year, around the feast day of San Giacomo on July 25th, the food stand offers grilled meats and traditional dishes, while the marquee comes alive with live music, orchestras, ballroom dancing, country nights, and DJ sets. Organized by the Festival Committee, it is one of the most beloved summer sagre (local festivals) in the area, where taste, dancing, and community meet at the foot of Montello.

The patronal festival of Caonada

The Sagra di San Giacomo is the patronal festival of the hamlet of Caonada, in Montebelluna, in the province of Treviso. Linked to the feast day of San Giacomo (July 25th), it takes place in the heart of summer and is one of the most cherished events for the local community.

Barbecues and festival food

The star is the food stand, famous for its grilled meats and traditional Venetian dishes, served under the festival marquee. The long tables bring together families and friends in a convivial atmosphere that is the very essence of village sagre.

Music, orchestras, and dancing

The evenings come alive with live music, ballroom orchestras, country nights, and DJ sets, animating the marquee until late. Organized by the Comitato Festeggiamenti San Giacomo Caonada (San Giacomo Caonada Festival Committee), the sagra combines good food, music, and fun for all ages. For those visiting Montebelluna in July, it's an opportunity to experience the authenticity of Venetian sagre, at the foot of Montello.
