The event takes place in the Sala Expo of the Palazzo del Capitano del Popolo, in Piazza del Popolo, and is organized by GLOR – Gruppo Ludico Orvieto.
Gaming for everyone
For an entire weekend, the space transforms into a large shared gaming table: demonstrations, tournaments, role-playing game sessions, and open tables for those who want to try new titles. The event is for everyone, without age or origin restrictions, and has free admission.

Born recently, Gioca Orvieto has already won over the local public, becoming an anticipated event for the community of board game enthusiasts in Umbria and beyond, with hundreds of visitors animating the two days.
Gioca Orvieto — edition 2026
The second edition of Gioca Orvieto was held on the weekend of April 25-26, 2026, in the Sala Expo of the Palazzo del Capitano del Popolo, in Piazza del Popolo, Orvieto. The event, entirely dedicated to board games, role-playing games, and miniatures, confirmed its good public reception, with hundreds of visitors over the two days.
Organized by GLOR – Gruppo Ludico Orvieto, the event remained free admission and open to all ages.

Orvieto can be reached by train (Rome-Florence line, Orvieto Scalo station + funicular) and by car from the A1 motorway, Orvieto exit. The Sala Expo is located in the Palazzo del Capitano del Popolo, in Piazza del Popolo.
