Gauro Ham Festival 2025
The festival returned in August 2025 with four consecutive days, from Friday, August 8th to Monday, August 11th, in the Gauro hamlet of Montecorvino Rovella, in the province of Salerno. As is tradition, the event was part of the community's summer celebrations, with free admission to the festival area.
What was eaten
Local ham remained the absolute protagonist, offered for tasting and in various preparations at the stalls managed by volunteers; alongside it, typical dishes from the Salerno hinterland and other Campanian specialties. The evenings took place outdoors, animated by live music and the entertainment moments that have always marked the event.
Towards the 41st edition
The success of 2025 paved the way for the next appointment, scheduled from August 8th to 10th, 2026, and presented by the organizers as the 41st Ham Festival.
