About Gathering
When the Middle Ages Meet Metal
The Gathering is the national meeting of Feudalesimo e Libertà, the Italian satirical phenomenon that reinterprets pop culture and current events in a medieval key. Every year, in spring, the Gathering is held at the Live Music Club in Trezzo sull'Adda, a historic venue for live music in the Martesana area, in the Metropolitan City of Milan.
It is an event that defies categorization: not just a music festival, but a gathering that brings together metal and rock concerts, political and medieval satire, nerd culture, role-playing games, and historical re-enactment. The audience, faithful to the imagery of Feudalesimo e Libertà, participates in costume and in a full spirit of revelry.
Four Worlds in One Place
The Gathering is divided into thematic areas that coexist throughout the event:
- Emperor Stage: the main stage, where the leading metal and rock bands of the program perform;
- Hostaria Stage: the space for meetings, talks, acoustic shows, and medieval contests;
- Nerd Inn: the area dedicated to tabletop role-playing games and tournaments;
- Pugna Area: the arena for soft medieval-style combat.
Organized by Adunata Live with Bagana Music Agency, the Gathering has become a reference event for the Italian metal and nerd community, capable of attracting enthusiasts from all over Italy to Trezzo sull'Adda.
Gathering — edition 2026
The Gathering VIII, the eighth national meeting of Feudalesimo e Libertà, is scheduled from May 15 to 17, 2026, at the Live Music Club in Trezzo sull'Adda. Three days with a rich musical lineup on the Emperor Stage — from Claudio Simonetti's Goblin to Nanowar of Steel and Visions of Atlantis — alongside the meetings on the Hostaria Stage, the Nerd Inn, and the Pugna Area.

How to get there
Trezzo sull'Adda is located in the Martesana area, northeast of Milan, bordering the province of Bergamo. By car from the A4 motorway (Trezzo sull'Adda exit); by train, get off at Trezzo sull'Adda station on the Milan-Bergamo line via Carnate.
