Edition 2025 — Galatone in Pentola

In the summer of 2025, Galatone in Pentola returned in mid-August to Piazza del SS. Crocifisso della Pietà, confirming itself as one of the most popular gastronomic events of the Estate Galatea. Beneath the Baroque facades of the historic center, the Pro Loco of Galatone set up stalls with traditional Salento dishes, drawing residents and tourists for an evening of flavor and conviviality.

The 2025 edition of Galatone in Pentola took place in mid-August in the evocative Piazza del SS. Crocifisso della Pietà, in the heart of Galatone (province of Lecce). The Pro Loco of Galatone once again offered the historic recipes of Galatone cuisine: homemade pasta with sauce and ricotta, pettule, potato panzerotti, meatballs, pezzetti di cavallo, grilled sausage, and baked vegetables, along with traditional Salento desserts like zeppole and cartellate. The event, included in the Estate Galatea program, enlivened the historic center for an evening dedicated to the flavors and traditions of Salento.
