Fuoche de Sant'Antuone (St. Anthony Abbot Bonfires)

The 2025 St. Anthony's Bonfires in Biccari were lit on Saturday, January 18th, one week later than the usual date due to bad weather. The evening was enlivened by the traditional lighting of five large bonfires that framed a rich food and wine trail. As highlighted by Mayor Antonio Beatrice, the new format aimed to enhance local flavors with "a true journey through the culinary excellence of the area." The municipal organization identified five tasting locations where typical products could be sampled via a special ticket, accompanied by craft markets featuring oil, pasta, truffles, craft beer, and local handmade goods. The musical portion was entrusted to Mary Grace, the "Bassa Musica" band from Molfetta, and other artists, with entertainment for children as well.
