Fritto Misto all'Italiana

The 21st edition of Fritto Misto all'Italiana was held in Ascoli Piceno from April 24 to May 4, 2025, traditionally transforming Piazza Arringo into a grand showcase of flavors. The year's slogan, "Fritti, non frottole!" (Fried, not nonsense!), accompanied eleven days of tastings of Italian and international fried food, both sweet and savory.

Among the main novelties of 2025 were the Osteria della Cotoletta, featuring cotolette and grilled meats, and the Palco del Gusto, an event area hosting a series of conferences, talks, documentary screenings, and special tastings. The focus on celiac attendees was confirmed thanks to the Gluten Free section created with AIC Marche.

The program highlighted the local territory: among the events were the screening of the documentary "Gli ultimi cavatori" about black truffle hunters in the Piceno region and a day dedicated to typical products with tastings of honey, single-varietal oils, and show cooking. To participate in tastings, a carnet costing 20 euros was purchased.
