Four Steps in the Fortress is the series of guided tours that every March allows you to discover the Sforza Fortress of Soncino, in the Province of Cremona, one of the best-preserved castles in Lombardy. Organized by the association Terre del Drago, the tours take participants on a journey through time, from the underground passages to the towers of the manor.

Discovering the Manor

Built in the 15th century at the behest of Galeazzo Maria Sforza, the Fortress of Soncino is a masterpiece of military architecture. During the tour, guides recount the history of the castle, illustrate the sophisticated defensive mechanisms, and lead visitors through the rooms, walkways, and most evocative areas, revealing the secrets of a fortress that has spanned the centuries.

How to Participate

The tours are held every Sunday in March, in three daily slots (11:00 AM, 2:30 PM, and 4:00 PM). Reservation is mandatory, by contacting Terre del Drago. It is a precious opportunity to experience Soncino's historical heritage up close, immersing yourself in the atmosphere of its medieval village.
