Edition 2025 — Formai Schiz Festival

In 2025, the Festa del Formai Schiz enlivened Celarda di Feltre in August, with the demonstration of the traditional production of schiz cheese, butter, and ricotta in the ancient casel. Food stands and festive moments celebrated an identity product of the Feltrino area, in an event organized by APS Casel de Celarda.

The 2025 edition of the Festa del Formai Schiz brought the art of producing schiz cheese back to Celarda, a hamlet of Feltre. In the ancient casel, APS Casel de Celarda showcased the stages of milk processing, from the production of schiz cheese to that of butter and ricotta, according to traditional methods. Food stands and moments of conviviality involved the community and visitors, in a festival that preserves the rural memory of the Feltrino area, in the province of Belluno.
