About Filagosto
The festival born from the youth of Filago
Filagosto Festival is one of the most interesting musical realities in the province of Bergamo. It was born in 2003 from the idea of a group of young people from Filago who, instead of going elsewhere to party, decided to bring music to their own town. From that intuition, a festival has grown that over the years has gained national recognition.
Independence and free admission
Organized by the social promotion association Filago Giovani, founded in 2005, the festival is characterized by free admission concerts and a program focused on the Italian independent, indie, and singer-songwriter scene. It traditionally takes place in the first week of August, in the Feste area of Filago and Bonate Sopra, becoming a fixed stop for many music lovers during the Lombard summer.
Towards the 2026 edition
After the cancellation of the 2025 edition, the Filago Giovani association has launched a fundraising campaign to revive the event in 2026. This shows the commitment of a community of young volunteers to not give up on a project that, in over twenty years, has managed to combine quality music, participation, and local roots in the Bassa bergamasca area, remaining true to its independent nature.
Filagosto — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Filagosto Festival represents a restart: after the cancellation in 2025, the Filago Giovani association launched a fundraising campaign to finance the festival's return.
The event retains its identity as an independent and free review, traditionally held in the first week of August in the Feste Area of Filago. The precise dates and concert program will be communicated by the organization through official channels once the edition is confirmed.
