Gussola and its summer fair

The Fiera di San Lorenzo is the most important summer event in Gussola, in the province of Cremona, a village on the Po River in the heart of Oglio Po, the land of two rivers between Cremona and Mantua. A traditional village festival, the fair attracts residents and visitors every year for several evenings of music, food, and fun.

Evenings of music and fun

The event takes place at the Parco Comunale Vainer Lombardi, which for a few days becomes the centre of Gussola's life. Every evening, bar and catering services are available with local specialties, while the programme offers concerts, shows, and attractions. There are also fairground rides and activities for children, in a festive atmosphere that involves all generations.

A community festival

The Fiera di San Lorenzo is promoted by the Municipality of Gussola in collaboration with the association Auser Insieme Gussola and with the support of numerous volunteers. It is precisely this community and participatory dimension that makes it such a cherished event: the festival is a time when the town comes together, strengthens its bonds, and celebrates summer together.

In the Oglio Po territory

Gussola is part of the Visit Oglio Po circuit, the itinerary that promotes the villages and traditions of the territory between the Oglio and Po rivers, encompassing municipalities in the provinces of Cremona and Mantua. In this context, the Fiera di San Lorenzo represents one of the flagship events, capable of blending taste, music, and local identity along the banks of the great river.
