The Contrada's Autumn Festival

The Autumn Fair is the event that the Noble Contrada San Magno dedicates to the autumn season, in its own manor on Via Berchet, in Legnano. It is an event born from the world of the contrade of the Palio di Legnano, the famous historical reenactment that annually divides the city into competing districts, and which here is expressed in its most convivial and gastronomic dimension.

Markets, Workshops, and Music

The day, from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, offers food and wine markets with local products, workshops for children, and live music. It is a festival designed for families and for anyone who wants to spend a day of taste and socialising, immersed in the atmosphere of a Legnano contrada.

Flavours of Tradition

The heart of the fair is the food: the contrada's chefs prepare the great classics of the cold season, from pizzoccheri (by reservation) to polenta with sausage stew, to casoncelli with butter and sage, with a takeaway service also available. Dishes that tell the story of Lombard culinary tradition and make the Autumn Fair a delicious event.

Contrada Life

More than just a local festival (sagra), the Autumn Fair is a way to experience the community dimension of Legnano's contrade, made of volunteering, tradition, and belonging.
