The Festival of Visnadello Ss. Filippo and Giacomo is the patronal feast of the hamlet of Visnadello, part of the municipality of Spresiano, in the province of Treviso. It takes place between late April and early May, coinciding with the feast of the patron saints Filippo and Giacomo, and enlivens the Piazza di Visnadello for several days.
Between sport, tradition, and gastronomy
The festival brings together different worlds: the funfair for the little ones, the food stand with traditional Venetian dishes, and two characteristic events. The first is the Visnadel Pedaea, a historic running race now in its 41st edition; the second is the Delta exhibition, dedicated to ultralight aircraft, which attracts enthusiasts and the curious.
A community celebration in the Treviso area
With its mix of popular religiosity, sport, and conviviality, the Festival of Visnadello is one of the most deeply rooted events in the Spresiano spring calendar. The hamlet, located along the route between Treviso and the Piave River, gathers around the square to celebrate the patrons and share a few days of festivities.
