Edition 2025 — Festival of the Porsel

In 2025, the Festival of the Porsel and Feast of the Lardo returned to Ossimo Superiore during the Christmas period, featuring cured meats, lard, and specialties of the Camun peasant tradition. Among food stands, butchery demonstrations, and musical bands, the festival celebrated the charcuterie culture in Valle Camonica.

The 2025 edition of the Festival of the Porsel and Feast of the Lardo took place in Ossimo Superiore, a hamlet of the Municipality of Ossimo in the province of Brescia, during the Christmas period. The festival celebrated the peasant tradition of Valle Camonica with typical pork products: salami, cotechino, lard, guanciale, and pancetta.

Organized by Pro Loco 'Per Osem', the festival featured food stands, workshops, traditional butchery demonstrations with norcini at work, and musical bands. A deeply identity-driven event, capable of attracting visitors and cured meat enthusiasts to the Brescia mountains and keeping the traditions of the past alive.
