The Festival of Santa Maria di Zevio is the village festival of the hamlet of the same name, in the municipality of Zevio (province of Verona). It takes place at the beginning of September in the square in front of the sports field, along Via Orazio Andreoli, and is organized in collaboration between the Municipality, the Pro Loco of Zevio, the Alpini Corps, and the Circolo Noi Santa Maria, with the support of the parish of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The festival offers four evenings of live music, dominated by popular tribute bands dedicated to the great names of Italian and international music, accompanied by the cuisine of the food stalls open every evening from 7:00 PM. Among the most anticipated moments are the 'assalto alla cuccagna' and the charity raffle, which make the festival a beloved event for all generations.
It is one of the many festivals that liven up the summer and early autumn in the Bassa Veronese region: a popular, free event rooted in the life of the community of Santa Maria.
