About Saint Titian
The patron saint of Vittorio Veneto
The Festival of Saint Titian is the recurrence dedicated to the main patron saint of Vittorio Veneto and of the entire Ceneda diocese, in the province of Treviso. Saint Titian of Oderzo, bishop and confessor, is venerated as the official patron of the city and is celebrated on January 16th.
Liturgical celebrations
The festival is divided into two main moments in the Cathedral of Vittorio Veneto. On the eve, the First Vespers are celebrated in the crypt of the Duomo, presided over by the diocesan bishop. The day of the feast is dedicated to the solemn Pontifical Mass, with the apostolic blessing and the veneration of the saint's relics, according to the ancient synodal constitutions which prescribe a solemn degree of celebration for the diocese.
A diocesan tradition
The celebrations of Saint Titian involve the entire ecclesial community and see the participation of the civil and military authorities of the territory. It is an event of strong identity for Vittorio Veneto, a city born from the union of the hamlets of Ceneda and Serravalle, which recognizes in its patron saint a historical and spiritual reference point.
Saint Titian — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Festival of Saint Titian saw the diocese of Vittorio Veneto celebrate its main patron with two solemn liturgical moments. On Thursday, January 15th, at 6:30 PM, First Vespers were celebrated in the crypt of the Duomo. On Friday, January 16th, at 10:00 AM, the solemn Pontifical Mass took place in the Cathedral, presided over by Bishop Riccardo Battocchio, with apostolic blessing and veneration of the saint's relics. The celebrations, of ancient tradition and solemn degree for the entire diocese, were broadcast live on La Tenda TV and Radio Palazzo Carli.

Vittorio Veneto can be reached by car from the A27 motorway and by train. The celebrations take place in the Cathedral of Ceneda, in the city center.
