The great end-of-summer festival in the hamlet of Isiata
The Festival of Our Lady the Child is the most cherished event in Isiata, a small hamlet of San Donà di Piave, in the province of Venice. Organized by the Parish of San Giuseppe Lavoratore, it is linked to the devotion to the Nativity of Mary and traditionally takes place between late August and the first days of September, marking the transition from summer to autumn.
The heart of the festival is the food stand, which opens every evening at 7:00 PM with typical products from the Veneto region. From 9:00 PM, local bands take turns on stage, with evenings dedicated to different genres that get audiences of all ages dancing and singing.
Alongside the evening entertainment, the festival offers baby dance on Saturdays and Sundays at 8:30 PM, a playground with bouncy castles for children, and a charity raffle, the proceeds of which support the parish's activities.
The last Sunday concludes the festival with its most solemn moment: Holy Mass followed by a procession through the streets of the hamlet, an evening musical performance, and the highly anticipated lottery draw. An event that combines faith, tradition, and conviviality in the heart of eastern Veneto.
For 2026, the Parish of San Giuseppe Lavoratore in Isiata is once again hosting its grand end-of-summer festival, from August 22 to September 7. As tradition dictates, the hamlet is enlivened every evening by the food stand, live music with local bands, dance nights, a charity raffle, and a play area for children.
The detailed program will be published by the parish in the weeks prior. Based on recent editions, the daily structure includes:
