The Vighizzolo Festival
The Festival of Our Lady of the Snows is the summer event of the hamlet of Vighizzolo d'Este, in the municipality of Santa Caterina d'Este, in the province of Padua. It takes place in early August, around the feast day of Our Lady of the Snows (August 5th), and is organized by the Vighizzolo d'Este Festival Committee.
Venetian Cuisine and Entertainment
The heart of the festival is the food stand with traditional Venetian cuisine, accompanied by evenings of music with live bands and a dance floor. For the little ones, there is entertainment, inflatables, and street artist performances, while the photographic exhibition and charity fishing are also available.
The Finale with Fireworks
Among the most anticipated moments is the finale with fireworks, which light up the Vighizzolo sky to close the festival. The Festival of Our Lady of the Snows is one of the many village festivals that liven up the summer in the Bassa Padovana, an occasion for the community of the hamlet and neighboring towns to gather.
