The Patronal Festival of Bastia
The Festival of Our Lady of the Snows is the patronal festival of the hamlet of Bastia di Rovolon, in the Euganean Hills near Padua. It takes place in early August, coinciding with the feast of Our Lady of the Snows (August 5th), and attracts residents and visitors from all over the region.
Evenings in Piazza Marconi
The heart of the festival is Piazza Marconi, where every evening, starting at 7 PM, stalls offering traditional Venetian cuisine open. The evenings are accompanied by live music and DJ sets, with dancing and entertainment, and there's also fun for the little ones.
A Community Celebration
The event is organized by the Parish of Santa Maria della Neve in collaboration with the youth group BGs - Bastia Giovane, and is entirely run by local volunteers. With its food, music, and social activities, the festival is one of the most cherished community gatherings of the summer in Bastia di Rovolon.
In the Euganean Hills
Set in a village in the Euganean Hills, the festival is also an opportunity to discover this corner of the Paduan area, with its hilly landscape, traditions, and local cuisine.

The 2026 edition of the Festival of Our Lady of the Snows is scheduled for early August in Bastia di Rovolon, around the feast of the patron saint (August 5th), as per established tradition.

Bastia is a hamlet of Rovolon, in the Euganean Hills southwest of Padua. By car from the A13 (Terme Euganee exit) and via the scenic hill roads. The festival takes place in Piazza Marconi.
