Parade of Brass Bands

The heart of the event is the travelling parade of the Civic Musical Corps of Saronno, joined by other brass bands. The procession crosses the city center starting from the Ignoto Militi school to reach the Park of the former Seminary, filling streets and squares with music and involving passers-by in a cheerful musical procession.

Musical bands represent a heritage deeply rooted in Lombard culture: in many municipalities, the brass band is one of the oldest and most beloved institutions.
