A historic festival of the Lecco area

The Festival of Festivals is one of the most deeply rooted gastronomic events in the territory of Galbiate, a municipality in the province of Lecco located at the gates of Valsassina, at the foot of Monte Barro. With over sixty years of history, the festival has become a landmark of the Lecco summer, attracting visitors from all over Lombardy.

Typical cuisine and conviviality

The heart of the event is the food stalls, which offer the specialties of the Lombard and Valsassina tradition in a convivial and popular setting. For several days, the area of the Comunità Montana transforms into a large festive space, where you can taste typical dishes, sit at outdoor tables, and experience the atmosphere of village festivals, amidst culinary aromas and music.

Music and entertainment

Alongside gastronomy, the Festival of Festivals offers a calendar of musical evenings and entertainment for all ages. Concerts, orchestras, animations, and shows accompany the dinners, making the event a complete celebration that combines good food and fun in the heart of summer.

New management

The festival is organized on behalf of the Comunità Montana Valsassina Valvarrone Val d'Esino e Riviera. Starting from 2026, management has been entrusted to PK Events, a company based in Galbiate, for the three-year period 2026-2028, ensuring continuity for a tradition that is part of the territory's identity. Galbiate, a municipality in the Monte Barro Park, thus serves as the gateway to Valsassina, also through its most famous festival.
