The Festival of Colors is the freshest and most popular summer event in the Municipality of Castelforte, a village in lower Lazio in the Province of Latina, just a stone's throw from the renowned Terme di Suio. Inspired by the joyful spirit of color festivals, the event transforms the town center streets into a riot of colored powder, laughter, and music, involving residents and visitors of all ages in an atmosphere of pure joy.

A parade of colors from the heart of the town

The festival was born and continues to grow thanks to the efforts of the Pro Loco Castelforte - Terme di Suio, which organizes the event every year as a moment of community gathering. The ritual is now well-established: the meeting point is Piazza Medaglia d'Oro, from where a festive parade sets off, crossing the town until it reaches the Villa Comunale, the beating heart of the evening. Along the route and upon arrival, throws of colored powder dye the air and the participants, creating that unmistakable rainbow that gives the event its name.

Music, DJ sets, and entertainment

Once at the Villa Comunale, the party comes alive with DJ sets, animation, and entertainment. Music accompanies the evening while colors continue to fly, in a setting designed for both young people and families. There is no shortage of activities and games dedicated to children, making the Festival of Colors an event truly suitable for everyone, from the youngest to the oldest.

Founded recently, the Festival of Colors has quickly established itself as one of the most anticipated events of the Castelforte summer, enriching a calendar of events that already showcases the identity of the territory and its popular traditions.
