The Festival Incontri is a chamber music series that brings winter festivities to life in Caprarica di Lecce, a small town in the province of Lecce, nestled in the heart of Salento and southern Puglia. The event is hosted at the Casa della Musica on Via Francesco Greco, a space dedicated to music education and outreach that provides an intimate and welcoming setting for these performances.

The festival is conceived and directed by flutist Giorgia Santoro, a key figure in the Salento music scene and a driving force behind various local cultural projects. Her artistic direction gives Festival Incontri a distinct identity: carefully curated, refined concerts that remain accessible, designed to bring musicians and listeners together in a human-scale space.

Music without genre boundaries

The hallmark of the festival is its variety. The programs cross genre lines without barriers, moving from pop to jazz, and from classical music to opera and singer-songwriter tracks. Seating is limited, and the cozy environment makes for a particularly warm experience. Entry is by membership card with a small donation; booking is recommended.
