Festival Dance – CIV The Historic Villas

The Festival Dance is one of the events that enlivens Sampierdarena, a neighborhood in western Genoa, thanks to the initiative of CIV The Historic Villas. For one day, Largo Gozzano transforms into an open-air stage where dance, in all its forms, is the absolute protagonist.

From late afternoon, performances by local dance schools take place: from modern dance academies to country schools, including dance spaces and various disciplines. It's an opportunity for local organizations to showcase their work and for the public to discover the richness of the local offerings.

Live music in the evening

As evening falls, the party changes pace: the live party with live music transforms the square into a dance floor, in a cheerful and engaging atmosphere. The venues in Largo Gozzano complete the evening with catering services, making the Festival Dance a well-rounded convivial event.

A neighborhood party

Supported by the Municipality of Genoa and the Municipal Council II Centro Ovest, the Festival Dance is an example of the vitality of Genoa's CIVs, the associations of traders who liven up neighborhoods with events capable of strengthening the sense of community and enhancing the urban fabric of the western area.
