The Festa Patronale di San Germano is the most anticipated event of the summer in Rivanazzano Terme, a municipality in the Oltrepò Pavese area, in the province of Pavia. Dedicated to the patron saint, the festival traditionally takes place in the first days of August and involves the entire community in several days of celebrations.

Patronale San Germano — edition 2026
The Festa Patronale di San Germano returns to Rivanazzano Terme in early August 2026, according to tradition which places it around the first Sunday of the month. The village of Oltrepò Pavese prepares for three days of festivities that combine faith and popular celebration.
The program, organised by Pro Rivanazzano Terme with the Municipality, usually includes the religious procession, craft markets, gastronomic and dancing evenings at Parco Brugnatelli, shows for children, and the traditional fireworks display to conclude the celebrations.
