San Carlo Borromeo, patron saint of Lambrugo

San Carlo Borromeo (1538-1584), Archbishop of Milan and a central figure of the Ambrosian Church, is the patron saint of Lambrugo, a municipality in the province of Como in the heart of Brianza. The parish church named after him, on Via San Carlo, is the focal point of the festival that the town dedicates to him every year on November 4th, the day of his liturgical commemoration.

A festival of parish and community

The parish of San Carlo Borromeo is part of the Pastoral Unit that unites Lambrugo with Lurago d'Erba and is a vibrant community, around which liturgical life, the oratory, and numerous initiatives revolve throughout the year.
