Brivio celebrates its patron saint

The Patronal Festival of Our Lady of Sorrows is the grand festival of Brivio, a village in the Province of Lecco nestled on the banks of the Adda River, in Lombardy. Dedicated to the patron saint, the Blessed Virgin of Sorrows, it spans about three weeks in September, transforming the town into a grand stage for religious and popular events.
