The Festa di Sant'Antonio di Padova, celebrated on June 13th, is one of the most beloved anniversaries in Santa Croce di Magliano, a town in Basso Molise in the province of Campobasso. In addition to the religious services in honor of the saint, there is a rich civil program of festivities that draws residents, emigrants, and visitors to the town.
Two free concerts at the Belvedere
For the 2026 edition, the Municipality of Santa Croce di Magliano and the Pro Loco 4 Torri have announced two great musical evenings with free admission in the suggestive Belvedere area:
- Eugenio Bennato, a Neapolitan singer-songwriter and musician, founder of the Nuova Compagnia di Canto Popolare and Musicanova, a historic voice in the rediscovery of Southern folk music
- Sud Sound System, a historic Salento group active since 1989, among the pioneers of reggae and raggamuffin in dialect, capable of blending pizzica and Jamaican rhythms
Two different proposals but united by a common thread: the valorization of the musical culture of the South, in a popular festival setting that makes the tradition of Saint Anthony an occasion for community gathering.

The celebrations for Sant'Antonio di Padova 2026 in Santa Croce di Magliano are enriched by two great free musical events in the Belvedere area, organized by the Municipality together with the Pro Loco 4 Torri.
Alongside the religious celebrations on June 13th, the two evenings bring two protagonists of Southern Italian music to town, for a weekend that intertwines popular devotion and live performance.
Programme Festa di Sant'Antonio 2026
Saturday, June 13th — Belvedere
- Concert by Eugenio Bennato, Neapolitan singer-songwriter and founder of the Nuova Compagnia di Canto Popolare, in a journey through the folk music and traditions of the South
Sunday, June 14th — Belvedere
- Concert by Sud Sound System, historic Salento group of reggae and dialect raggamuffin, blending pizzica and Caribbean rhythms
Both concerts are free admission. Details on times and the religious program will be announced by the organizers closer to the event.

How to get there
Santa Croce di Magliano is located in Basso Molise, in the province of Campobasso, near the border with Puglia. It can be reached by car from the A14 (Termoli exit) and the SS 87 Sannitica state road.
