The festival of a mountain hamlet
In Sasso di Asiago, a small hamlet of the municipality of Asiago on the Asiago Plateau Seven Municipalities, the Festa di Sant'Antonio is the summer event. For several weeks in June, the Palatenda of Parco Calà del Sasso becomes the center of village life, with a food stand, music, and activities for all ages, organized by the Pro Loco Sasso.
Flavors of the Plateau and evenings with friends
The food stand offers the dishes that have always accompanied these mountain festivals: horse steaks, mixed fried fish, "onti" sandwiches. The evenings alternate between ballroom dancing, rock bands, DJ sets, and events designed for younger audiences, in a schedule that covers multiple weekends.
The Calà del Sasso Torchlight Procession
Among the most characteristic moments is the Historical Torchlight Procession of Calà del Sasso, along the famous staircase of 4,444 steps connecting Sasso di Asiago to Valstagna in the Brenta Canal: one of the longest stone staircases in Europe. Sports tournaments and the Altopiano 7 Comuni Motorcycle Tour also accompany the festival, in the province of Vicenza.

The 2026 edition of the Festa di Sant'Antonio in Sasso di Asiago runs from June 2 to 21 at the Palatenda of Parco Calà del Sasso. Three weeks of food stand, live music, sports tournaments, and tradition, organized by Pro Loco Sasso on the Asiago Plateau Seven Municipalities.

How to get there
Sasso di Asiago can be reached by car from the center of Asiago. The Plateau is connected by the A31 Valdastico (Piovene Rocchette exit, Strada del Costo) and the A4 via Vicenza. Train to Bassano del Grappa or Vicenza, then bus.
Admission and catering
The festival takes place at the Palatenda of Parco Calà del Sasso, with a food stand open in the evenings. Events and music evenings have free admission except for dedicated initiatives.
